GZT vibrating feeders are typically installed with a downward slope (usually between 0° and 10° or customized based on the site layout) to aid material movement by gravity. It must be mounted on a solid, level concrete foundation or a heavy steel structural platform to ensure that the damping springs bear the load evenly.

The GZT vibrating feeder utilizes two identical, counter-rotating vibration motors. Through the principle of self-synchronization, their centrifugal forces cancel each other out in the horizontal direction and combine in the vertical direction. This creates a powerful linear vibrating force that moves materials uniformly forward without deviation.

The most common wear parts for the GZT series include the Liner Plates (which protect the main frame from abrasive material wear), the Grizzly Bars (subject to direct rock impact), and the Damping Springs (which handle continuous high-frequency fatigue). It features a grizzly section made of wear-resistant manganese steel bars at the discharge end. As materials move along the feeder, smaller particles, dirt, and clay drop through the gaps between the grizzly bars, while the larger rocks continue forward into the crusher. For standard GZT models, the lead time is typically 15 to 25 days depending on current factory stock.
