The Jiaozuo Zhongxin ZX Series Compound Cone Crusher is designed for secondary and subsequent crushing stages. The crusher body features a cast steel structure with reinforcing ribs at high-stress points for excellent durability.
The drive shaft uses tapered roller bearings and heavy-duty bevel gears, with skeleton seal rings to prevent oil leakage. The crusher includes inner and outer copper eccentric bushings, a steel ball seat, and a copper ball seat cover with a spring-floated dust ring.
The ZX series features hydraulic adjustment for quick discharge opening setting, a hydraulic cavity-clearing system with four cylinders, and spring-type iron release protection. The external lubrication system includes an oil pump, tank, and pipeline, with automatic shutdown if oil temperature is too high or flow is too slow.
During operation, the rotating eccentric seat drives the main shaft, moving the movable tooth plate against the fixed tooth plate to crush material. Hard foreign objects activate release springs, allowing the upper frame to float up and let them pass, then return to normal operation.

The ZX Series Compound Cone Crusher is mainly used for secondary and subsequent crushing stages. At the center of the main shaft in the crusher body is a cone core and a movable tooth plate, with the spherical surface of the cone core placed on the eccentric seat. Since the center hole of the eccentric seat is not concentric with the body hole, the rotation of the eccentric seat drives the main shaft to rotate.


Under the upper chamber is a fixed tooth plate, which together with the movable tooth plate forms the crushing chamber. The feeding platform ensures material falls evenly onto the distribution plate center. The rotary motion guarantees uniform material flow into the crushing chamber, where the material is crushed by compression, bending, and shearing forces between the two tooth plates. The crushed material is then continuously discharged from the bottom.


The upper frame, which connects the upper chamber and fixed tooth plate, is mounted on the body through peripheral release springs. If hard foreign objects such as iron blocks are mixed with the material, the release springs allow the upper frame to float up, letting the uncrushable material pass through and preventing overload or damage. After the foreign object is discharged, the upper frame automatically returns to its original position, and normal crushing continues. This cycle repeats continuously, enabling efficient and reliable crushing operation.

First, pre-start checks: Ensure there is no ore blockage in the crushing chamber. Check the oil level, quality, and temperature in the oil tank (not lower than 20°C). Ensure all instruments, hydraulic systems, and switches are functioning properly. Second, proper start-up and shutdown: First, start the lubricating oil pump. Once the oil pressure stabilizes (0.5–1.2 kg/cm²) and the oil return is normal, start the crusher. After running under no-load for 1-2 minutes without abnormalities, feeding can begin. When stopping, first stop the feeder. After all the ore in the crushing chamber has been discharged, stop the crusher. Finally, stop the lubricating oil pump and conveying equipment. These should be cleaned thoroughly with solvent and then coated with a thin layer of protective oil. If the rust inhibitor is difficult to remove, use hot solvent and wipe by hand. Do not scrape with sharp tools as this will damage the parts. If parts need storage, keep them in a dry place covered with black vinyl film.
