It is particularly suitable for processing materials with high mud content, high viscosity, and heavy impurities (such as mountain sand and muddy ore). The forced stirring action of the spiral effectively removes mud adhering to the surface of the sand particles.

This depends on the production capacity requirements. Single-spiral models are suitable for small to medium-sized production lines; double-spiral models, due to their two parallel spiral shafts, have a higher output and a more thorough cleaning effect.

The spiral design allows the material to stay in the cleaning tank for a longer time, and the cleaning path is much longer than that of a wheel sand washer, resulting in higher cleaning purity.

The main wear-resistant part is the spiral blades. Our XL series blades are usually equipped with replaceable wear-resistant liners; after wear, only the liners need to be replaced, without replacing the entire shaft.

Yes. A proper tilt installation (typically 10°-18°) facilitates natural water backflow and upward dehydration of the sand. An angle that is too large or too small will affect cleaning efficiency and dehydration effect.

The lower bearing is constantly immersed in water and is a key area for maintenance. We use a special sealing structure and lubrication system; the seals must be checked regularly for integrity and lubricated with grease on time.

During the cleaning process, some extremely fine sand may be lost with the overflow. It is recommended to use it in conjunction with a fine sand recovery machine or dewatering screen to maximize the finished sand yield.

Compared to wheel-type washing machines, spiral sand washers require a more abundant water flow to remove a larger amount of mud, therefore water consumption is relatively higher, but the cleaning quality is more guaranteed.
