ZXC Series Jaw Crusher – Product Overview

The ZXC Series jaw crusher, manufactured by Jiaozuo Zhongxin Heavy Industry, is designed and engineered in line with world-class domestic and international design philosophies. Compared to the traditional PE Series jaw crusher, the ZXC Series brings revolutionary improvements to the crushing chamber, material selection, manufacturing processes, and component precision. When evaluated against other jaw crusher types of similar specifications, the ZXC Series demonstrates a more robust and reliable structural design, achieving a production increase of over 30% while reducing unit operating costs by more than 20%. This series is widely used for crushing all types of hard, highly abrasive rocks, making it an ideal solution for ore processing in metal mining operations.
All ZXC Series jaw crushers feature an innovative modular, welding-free frame structure, which provides maximum fatigue resistance, superior reliability, and a variety of mounting options. Combined with high-quality cast steel components and premium rolling bearings, these features fully ensure high output, high efficiency, and low operating costs throughout the crushing process.

Advantages of Jiaozuo Zhongxin Heavy Industry's ZXC European Type Jaw Crusher and reasons to choose us

1.The ZXC Series features a welding-free modular frame structure that eliminates welding stress, providing maximum structural strength and excellent fatigue resistance for long-term reliability under heavy-duty conditions.

2.The integral cast steel bearing housing ensures a perfect fit with the crusher frame while avoiding unnecessary bearing loads, significantly improving bearing service life compared to traditional two-piece designs.

3.The optimized crushing chamber with a carefully calculated feed opening length-to-width ratio prevents material blockage and reduces overall crusher height, ensuring smooth and efficient material flow throughout the crushing process.

4.The quick hydraulic wedge discharge adjustment system replaces outdated shims, allowing the discharge opening to be set safely in just minutes and greatly reducing downtime and maintenance effort.

5.The integrated motor base saves installation space and allows precise V-belt tension control through an adjustable pivot design, extending belt life. Together, these features deliver over 30% higher output and more than 20% lower unit operating costs.

What is the working principle of the ZXC European Type Jaw Crusher?

During operation, the electric motor serves as the primary power source, transmitting rotational energy through V-belts to the eccentric shaft. This rotation is converted into a complex swinging motion of the moving jaw, which combines both vertical lifting and horizontal thrusting movements against the fixed jaw. As the moving jaw approaches the fixed jaw, the material trapped in the crushing chamber between the two jaw plates is subjected to multiple mechanical actions simultaneously, including compression from direct jaw pressure, splitting from the jaw plate tooth geometry, and bending from irregular particle shapes. When these combined forces exceed the material's inherent compressive strength, the material fractures into smaller fragments.

Conversely, when the moving jaw moves away from the fixed jaw in the opposite direction, the pressure is released. The crushed material then moves downward by gravity, aided by the vertical component of the moving jaw's motion. Each complete forward-and-backward cycle of the moving jaw applies one effective crushing action to the material and simultaneously advances it downward by a certain distance. As the moving jaw continues its periodic motion, the material is progressively crushed into finer particles with each cycle. After multiple cycles, the material reaches the desired particle size and is finally discharged from the discharge opening at the bottom of the crusher. This continuous, cyclic process ensures efficient and uniform crushing throughout the operation, making it ideal for high-capacity production in mining, quarrying, and aggregate processing industries.

Our Case

Jiaozuo Zhongxin® provides advanced crushing and screening equipment for industries involved in rock and mineral processing. From individual machines to mobile crushing units and complete processing plants, our solutions are designed to meet diverse production needs, supported by professional technical service and reliable after-sales support.

Common Problems

This section is designed to address the most pressing inquiries customers may have regarding the daily operation, maintenance, product advantages, and after-sales service of our crushing and screening equipment. Our aim is to help you gain a comprehensive understanding of our overall capabilities and enable you to make informed decisions for your projects.

Bearing grease should be completely replaced every 3 months. The toggle plate contact points must be lubricated before each startup to ensure normal operation and reduce wear.

The crusher must be started under no-load conditions. Only after normal operation is confirmed should material be fed evenly. Side feeding is prohibited. Before shutdown, ensure the crushing chamber is completely empty. If blockage occurs, power must be disconnected before handling.

Critical components such as toggle plates and shims must be original factory parts. Using non-standard parts may cause adjustment device failure and affect normal operation and safety.

Immediate shutdown is required if bearing temperature rise exceeds 35°C or if continuous abnormal vibration occurs. Establishing a regular inspection checklist and proactively replacing wear parts such as jaw plates and springs can significantly reduce sudden failure rates.

Possible causes: Material hardness or toughness exceeds specifications; incorrect motor wiring connection or reverse operation; discharge opening smaller than specified limit; jaw plate misalignment (teeth opposing teeth); low voltage at the worksite; excessive clearance due to bearing or moving jaw wear. Solutions: Replace or add a crusher; correct motor wiring; adjust discharge opening to nominal size; check tooth pitch and realign jaw plates (teeth to roots) and tighten; increase voltage; replace bearings or moving jaw.

Possible causes: Overload or material larger than feed opening entering the crusher; uncrushable material entering the crushing chamber; non-parallelism between toggle plate and toggle pad (misalignment); serious casting defects in the toggle plate. Solutions: Replace the toggle plate and control feed size; replace toggle plate and prevent uncrushable materials from entering; replace toggle plate and worn toggle pads, then install correctly; replace with a qualified toggle plate.

Possible causes: Loose or missing fastening bolts on the jaw plates; discharge opening too small, causing the bottom of the two jaw plates to strike each other. Solutions: Tighten or replace missing bolts; adjust the discharge opening to ensure correct clearance between the two jaw plates.

Possible causes include insufficient or contaminated lubricating grease, worn bearings, loose fastening bolts, or uneven feed. Solutions include checking and replenishing grease, replacing worn bearings, tightening all bolts, and ensuring uniform feeding. If temperature rise exceeds 35°C or abnormal vibration persists, shut down immediately for inspection.
